My journey through life and leadership has rarely been a straight line. It has been jagged at times, filled with victories, setbacks, unexpected turns, and more than a few lessons I did not know I needed. Through it all, my unwavering faith in God, our Maker, and my belief in Faith, Family, and doing what is right have remained my compass. For decades, I have had the privilege of leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams, always believing that how we achieve results matters every bit as much as the results themselves.

Much of my leadership philosophy has been shaped by legendary Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz and his wonderfully simple “Do Right” principles: Do the right thing. Do the best you can. Always show people you care. Since starting my consulting practice, Club Coach Services, in 2003, I have shared those principles with the teams and leaders I have been blessed to serve. Only with time did I come to appreciate even more deeply how closely they reflect the biblical foundation of the Golden Rule found in Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31: treat others as you would want them to treat you.

Today, I believe my calling is not simply to help leaders build better businesses. It is to help good people become better leaders, lead with integrity and courage, serve others well, and use the gifts God has entrusted to them to make a meaningful difference—in their businesses, their families, their communities, and His Kingdom.
